Our Children
Our Children, formerly called Our Home, is a bi-annual newsletter that has been published by Natchez Children’s Services for over 25 years. Each issue includes articles on events, donors, and volunteers that play a major part in the everyday mission of NCHS.

A Grand Christmas!!

Amid much excitement, Santa Claus visited Natchez Children’s Services on Christmas Eve. Before his arrival, Burnley Cook put on a magic show for the waiting crowd (he is REALLY good). Then he played the piano while Cherish McCallum played the guitar, and together they led all in Christmas carols. NCS even had a “name that Christmas tune” competition.

At last, Santa arrived with men from the Santa Claus Club. The children swarmed out to greet them and to stuff their NCS bags with the candy being thrown. After all went inside, Cherish led some of the children in a musical performance for the Santa Claus Club. Santa and his helpers then distributed gifts to each of the 104 children present.

NCS also distributed Christmas gifts to other children and youth in the area. In total, we provided Christmas for 350 children and had a wonderful time doing it!
